you thought the montagues and the capulets did a fine job of tearing up verona? welcome to axelle, california: shakespeare’s got nothing on this place. axelle is a playground for the rich and decadent. a warzone between old money and the nouveau riche. a clash between class and excess. chances are you’re caught in the middle, but hey, we can’t all be fabulously wealthy and you’ve got enough on your plate. you remember that kid you saw riding his bicycle round the block? he grew up to be a drug dealer. the happy couple you wave at while mowing the lawn? they’re filing for divorce. the wholesome prom queen? pregnant. your own kids? a mystery to you. you think you know this town. you think you know the people in it. you’re wrong. your town is coming apart at the seams and you can’t stop it. this is a place full of hateful strangers and we’re all within enemy lines.
